An assortment of some of the most EMERGING Drivers on the College Rowing Scene, specifically for the 2025-2026 Season, these high-level coxswains are at the very top of their game all around performance-wise, and if seeded an Honorable Mention Tier to our 2025-2026 FSN Top-10 Coxswains for All-Division 1 Women’s Rowing, would have earned placement without a shadow of a doubt.

Each individual featured on this select list has demonstrated their ability to handle the ultimate pressure and demands of some of the best collegiate rowing programs in the nation. The vast majority of these athletes are front-runners for their crew, and through proving their commitment to achieving excellence and the ability to track up the leaderboard during their years as a collegiate coxswains, for some during their first year suiting up for their respective program, marked their “seat” in the ranks!

No. 1 Ranked, Patricia Menendez (Tennessee) became a certified asset to the Volunteers in her Freshman Year Debut, leading the Varsity Eight at the first-ever SEC Rowing Championships in Oak Ridge, Tennessee coming across the finish line in second to conference rival, Texas. Menendez is amongst the other nine highly-skilled coxswains, including No. 10 Ranked Sophomore, Emma Mehner (SMU) out of Germany, where a boost of recognition via the FSN Front Office is completely warranted, subject to each of their hard work and dedication to their respective program.
