For Stars Network’s Top-10 Breakout Coxswains For 2026: Division 1 Men’s Rowing

An assortment of some of the most EMERGING Drivers on the College Rowing Scene, specifically for the 2025-2026 Season, these high-level coxswains are at the very top of their game all around performance-wise, and if seeded an Honorable Mention Tier to our 2025-2026 FSN Top-10 Coxswains for All-Division 1 Men’s Rowing, would have earned placement spotlighted without a shadow of a doubt.

Each individual featured on this select list has demonstrated their ability to handle the ultimate pressure and demands of some of the best collegiate rowing programs in the nation. The vast majority of these athletes are front-runners for their crew, and through proving their commitment to excellence and the ability to track up the leaderboard during their years as a collegiate coxswain, for some during their first year suiting up for their respective program, marked their “seat” in the ranks!

Two out of the ten athletes featured, Mike Kain (California) and Connor Miller (Syracuse) are both recent graduates of the nationally-ranked, St. Joseph’s Prep in Philadelphia, PA, led by the esteemed, John Fife, also a Former Prep Crew Rower. Kain with experience competing for Team USA in 2024, and Miller’s solid performance for the Hawks during their scholastic years, earned each of the young men along with the other eight highly-skilled coxswains, a boost in recognition via the FSN Front Office.
