FSN is pleased to introduce our 2027 Women’s Rowing Transfer Portal Tracker.
The NCAA Transfer Portal officially opened to Women’s Rowers on Thursday, Oct. 1. Graduate Students will have until December 15th to enter. Athletes pursuing Graduate Degrees with hopes to play elsewhere are primarily entering the Transfer Portal for the 2027-2028 Academic Year and to compete in the 2028 Spring Rowing Season.
Courtesy of the new NCAA age-based eligibility standards and legislation in place (informally known as “5-in-5”), Transfer Portal activity will inevitably have a higher quantity of Graduates from Colleges, Universities, and Conferences that do not allow Graduate Students to compete within their Athletic Departments (ie. The Ivy League and Patriot League) or simply do not have Graduate Programs available for students, let alone student-athletes.
The Undergraduate Transfer Portal Window opens on Dec. 1, 2026, including but not limited to, players casting their interest to transfer mid-year in order to compete at their subsequent school in the Spring 2027 Rowing Season.
Each outgoing Portal Entrant’s listed class is her projected eligibility for the Spring 2028 season. Players who have graduated from their previous schools and are pursuing Graduate Programs have been noted with “Gr.” next to their names.
As waivers begin to filter in throughout the Fall Months, the FSN Team will continue to track Portal Entrants as well as Players that Withdraw from the Portal, and/or in fact, make their confirmed decisions. To submit a confirmed decision or recent Portal Entrant, e-mail team@forstarsnetwork.com, hudson@forstarsnetwork.com or DM @ForStarsNetwork on Socials.
Editor's Note: The 2027 Transfer Portal Tracker was originally published at Noon ET on October 1st. It has been and will continue to be updated as information becomes available. Bolded players are either added or their destination added as of the most recent update, which is the timestamp of this post.
